Hello everyone!
Just wanted to make a quick announcement about a new product that we have available in the Candeystore for your custom designs – stretched canvas artwork! You can now upload photos and/or designs to have printed on heavyweight canvas duck and stretched over wooden stretcher bars for a unique piece of artwork! No frame needed for these prints! Right now they are available in 8″ x 10″, 11″x14″, and 16″ x 20″. We plan to add more sizes soon as well! These are available now, so get on over to the store and start creating!

Yay for us here at Eye Candey – I just found out that we’ve won the I Heart Design Award in the ‘Best Website’ category for the Candeystore! Whoo hoo! I consider that quite an accomplishment, as we were stacked up against some pretty stiff competition with awesome websites. I just love a new book – a new novel, textbook, notebook or journal. I think it’s something about that new book smell, the crackling sound of brand new pages being turned, or those crisp blank pages that appeal to me. That’s part of the reason why I love making notebooks – and there’s a couple of new ones up for sale in my store and my Etsy. These newbies have a Victorian/Steampunk theme and if you love them as much as I do then pick one up soon before they’re gone, gone, gone!

I’ve put a new wall decal up in both my main site and my Etsy shop - It’s a tree design which I think looks rather retro-ish (is that a word?). It’s also included some of my favorite color combos – (pink and anything!) but in this case, pink and brown with some blue and orange thrown in for good measure. Don’t you think this would look great on your walls? I do. So head over to the shop and get one for yourself!

So, a while back a lightbulb went off in my head when it suddenly occurred to me that perhaps, just perhaps, some of you would prefer to use your crafty talents to print your own fabric, wall decals, and prints. Now, if this were to be true, I feel that it’s my duty and priviledge to make these supplies available to you. And thus, Craft Candey was born!
Craft Candey is my newest etsy shop, and you can check it out here . You can find vinyl sheets which are great for creating your own wall decals with your Cricut, Sizzix, Wishblade and other craft cutters, or any commercial plotter (or hand cutting of course!). There are also blank adhesive fabric paper sheets to print your own wall decals and art prints, paper backed cotton broadcloth & duckcloth, applique sheets and more. So head on over and get crafting!

Your prints are removeable, reuseable, and repositionable. Imagine the freedom – change out your decor whenever and however you like. This material can be placed on any flat smooth surface, so you can hang it in corners, on the ceiling, wrap it around a pole and more! You can decorate for the holidays and special occasions, then take them down and use them again next time.
