A sandwich just isn’t a sandwich without…mac & cheese?

I’m a huge sandwich fan.  Burgers, hoagies, panini’s – you name it, I probably love it.  They’re easy portable meals – the ultimate convenience food!  Of course the popular sandwich comes in a gazillion different makes and models, and I try to sample as many varieties as I can.  So when I came across the Mo’Betta Sandwich from Shopsins in New York City, I knew this was one I’d like to try!  I guess you’d call it a breakfast sandwich, but I’ll let you make your own decision on that.  Take a look:

mac and cheese breakfast sandwichWondering what that’s all about?  Well, I’ll tell ya!  This sandwich is a combination of sweet and savory created from 2 buttermilk pancakes with a twist – a little mac and cheese added to the batter to serve as the ‘bun’.  Hiding in between is maple bacon and scrambled eggs.  Yummm, sounds like my type of sandwich.  Whether you order this one for breakfast or lunch, it’s sure to fill you up!  Want to try this monster sandwich out for yourself?  When next you’re in the Big apple, head over to Shopsins and place your order!
