Eye Candey has set up shop! We’re Local Now!

Sooo, some of you may know that I have recently left the mean world of Corporate America to seek my fortune as a small indie business owner!  The next step in the process – setting up shop.  I’ve recently moved Eye Candey into a new home to serve as the office/showroom for our products.  Scary…yes, exciting…yes, easy….hell no!  After spending the past few weeks getting licenses, insurance, fixtures and waving wistfully at my old friend sleep I’ve thrown open the doors and we’re off!

Our new address: 12225 N. 56th Street, Suite A, Tampa FL 33617.  Gonna be in the area?  Come on by – now you can order your custom t-shirts, place an order for custom fabric, wall decals, and stretched canvas art, as well as ordering your custom edible frosting sheets right in the shop.  Bring in your pictures and we’ll scan them and get started with your custom order, or bring your digital camera, or flash drive and we’ll download them right here!  Of course you can also e-mail your pics as well.  Not sure exactly what you want?  Take a look at our wall of designs and see if you find something you like.  We can change the colors of any of these images, or add text or pictures to them as well and make them into any one of our products!

Not really feeling any of these designs?  No problem, you can have a seat and browse our entire online catalog of designs and choose one you like.  We can also help you customize any of our pre-made designs!

Come on in and see the quality of our products – or choose some embellishments and get a t-shirt or tote bag made on the spot!

We’re in a Treasury!

You know, I’ve always listened to the buzz about treasuries on Etsy, and how hard people try to get them, and how cool it is to be in one, but until you’re randomly contacted by someone to tell you that they’ve selected something you made to be in a treasury, it’s hard to catch the fever, ya know? (whew *run on sentence*)  But now I know – and it’s a good feeling!  Now that I’ve gotten bit by the treasury bug I’m ready to jump in with both feet and start making some of my own!  But for now, see what Mollysmuses over at Etsy chose of mine to add to one of her treasuries, and then get over to Etsy and check out all of the other cool things she included as well.  The theme is Orchard is my favorite word

Whew – we’ve been busy!

I know, I know – it’s been a long time folks!  I have been slacking on the blog updates lately, but I promise you all – there’s a good reason.  Eye Candey has gone bricks and mortar!  We’ve still got all of the same online venues – our custom design store here, our Etsy shop here, and our craft supply shop here, but we’ve also just opened an office in Tampa where all of our lovely customers can come in and place an order for custom goods!  And let me tell ya, that’s a lot of work.  So please, forgive my absence for the last few months because I’m back, and I’ll still be sharing the latest news, recipes, projects and now I can tell you about on site sales, info and updates.  Look out for more info on the shop including pics in the posts ahead.  It’s great to be back!

Eye Candey Beta Is Open!!

Eye Candey is now open in beta, and we can’t tell you how excited we are to get started printing!  Feel free to visit us at www.eyecandey.com and jump right in with uploading your designs for print, creating items with our online designer, or setting up your own shop!  We’re just getting started, and there are lots of  additions and improvements in the works as well, including more products to offer, more stock designs, enhanced shop modifications, and more!  We are counting on your suggestions for what types of features you’d like to see next, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you’d like to see.  Got questions?  We’re here to help – shoot an e-mail over to info@eyecandey.com or leave a comment here on the blog.  Now let’s get started!
